01 / ABOUT JACANA

Ideas deserve
a practical path.

Jacana Global Machines Pvt. Ltd. brings together an ambition to develop useful technologies and a business network spanning more than 50 countries.

Our purpose is to help promising inventions find a path from research and development towards products, applications and market opportunities. We aim to build a portfolio of useful inventions through partnerships with the people behind them.

EXPERIENCE THAT INFORMS OUR OUTLOOK

From water-based hydrogen technology
to the next useful invention.

Our leadership brings experience in helping advance water-based hydrogen technology for green-energy applications, including industrial heating. The technology uses electrical energy to produce hydrogen-containing gas from water through electrolysis, with on-demand generation for heating applications.

That background gives us an appreciation of the engineering, controls, testing and practical requirements involved in taking an idea forward. We want to bring this perspective to new partnerships across disciplines.

OPEN TO EVERY INDUSTRY

Innovation has
no single discipline.

We welcome original concepts, practical improvements and new applications from any industry. You can approach us as an individual, a student, a research team, an institution or an established business.

Your idea may be at the sketch stage, in the laboratory or already taking shape as a prototype. What matters is the problem it addresses and the opportunity to make useful progress.

These are examples, not limits. If your concept belongs to another field—or connects several fields—we welcome your introduction.

02 / THE SUPPORT TO MOVE FORWARD

Different ideas.
Different needs.

We start with what your invention needs next. For selected projects, support can take several forms.

01 / RESOURCES

Development sponsorship

For selected projects, agree prototype funding, the work it will cover and the milestones that guide its release.

02 / DEVELOPMENT

Prototype & validation

Consider how to build or refine a working model, plan testing and establish what the invention can demonstrate.

03 / APPLICATION

A path towards production

Plan intellectual property support, manufacturing requirements and a commercial route, with the inventor’s participation agreed in writing.

04 / CONNECTIONS

International opportunities

Use relevant connections within our 50+ country network to explore feedback, partnerships and commercial introductions.

Support is considered individually, according to project fit and available resources. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee funding, introductions or a commercial outcome.

03 / YOUR JOURNEY WITH JACANA

From a concept
to commercial possibility.

A clear path: introduction, discussion, confidentiality, agreed funding, prototype development, IP protection, commercialisation and international growth.

01

Share your concept

Send a short, non-confidential introduction. Explain the problem, your proposed solution, your current stage and the support you need. You do not need a completed prototype or a detailed business plan to start.

02

Let’s discuss it on a call

After reviewing your introduction, we will contact you to arrange an initial discussion where there is a potential fit. We will listen to your thinking, understand what you have achieved and explore the next practical questions. Keep this first conversation non-confidential.

03

Sign an NDA before the details

If we agree to explore the concept further, we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before exchanging confidential technical information. It will set out the information covered, its permitted use and the confidentiality responsibilities of the parties.

04

Agree funding and partnership terms

For a selected project, we agree the prototype scope, funding, milestones, responsibilities and review points. We also document intellectual property arrangements and how you would participate in future commercial value, including any required institution or co-owner permissions.

05

Build and validate the prototype

We support the agreed prototype work through the funding and collaboration set out in the project plan. Together, we review testing, performance, cost, usability and the improvements needed before progressing further.

06

Plan patent and IP protection

We help coordinate appropriate professional advice on patentability, existing technology and a suitable protection strategy. Patent planning can begin before or during prototype development; filing timing is considered before public demonstrations or disclosure. Filing does not guarantee a granted patent.

07

Prepare for commercialisation

For projects ready to move forward, we explore manufacturing, licensing, market testing, pricing, distribution and applicable approval requirements. Your participation in resulting commercial value follows the written partnership terms.

08

Explore worldwide expansion

Through our network spanning more than 50 countries, we seek relevant introductions, regional partners and market opportunities. Expansion is planned around demand, local requirements, production capacity and the invention’s readiness—not simply the number of countries in our network.

Each project follows its own development plan. Selection, funding and further stages depend on the agreed terms, technical evidence and commercial feasibility.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION. A SHARED OPPORTUNITY.

Create value.
Share in its progress.

Our intention is for inventors to participate in the commercial value their work helps create.

Before development proceeds, we discuss and document the commercial arrangement. Depending on the project, this may include royalties, a defined revenue or profit share, equity participation, or another mutually agreed structure.

The agreement will explain the basis of your share, when it becomes payable or applicable, and each party’s rights and responsibilities. There is no standard percentage or automatic ownership transfer simply because you submit an idea.

As the invention develops, we aim to help it reach suitable customers and partners—first where the opportunity is strongest, then in additional markets when it is ready.

04 / PEOPLE & PERSPECTIVES

Progress takes
more than one perspective.

Under the guidance of our Chairman and leadership team, Jacana aims to bring a thoughtful, disciplined approach to identifying promising inventions.

Our wider network includes scientists, film personalities, media professionals and business contacts. We aim to bring relevant people into each conversation at the right stage.

SCIENCE

Ask the right questions.

Relevant scientists and specialists can contribute to discussions about feasibility, technical challenges and the evidence needed to assess an invention.

MANAGEMENT

Keep the work moving.

Our management will coordinate selected collaborations, establish responsibilities and review progress against agreed plans.

COMMUNICATION

Explain its practical value.

Film personalities and media professionals in our network bring communication experience that may help suitable inventions reach audiences when ready.

YOU CAN START WHERE YOU ARE

A clear idea.
Your own words.
A first conversation.

A concept is enough to start. You don’t need a finished product, a registered business or a polished investor presentation to approach us.

Tell us what you are working on, why it matters and where you need help. If you are at an early stage, explain what you hope to test. If something hasn’t worked as expected, tell us what you have learned.

We recognise that invention involves uncertainty, repeated testing and refinement. Our first aim is to understand your work and consider whether there is a practical basis for collaboration.

Start your introduction

05 / LET’S BEGIN A CONVERSATION

What are you
working on?

Tell us where you are today and what you want to achieve next. A non-confidential introduction is enough to begin.

Five things to include

  1. You and your teamYour name, institution or organisation, and industry, if applicable.
  2. The problemWhat are you trying to solve, and who could benefit?
  3. Your ideaA brief explanation of the solution and what makes it different.
  4. Progress so farYour current stage and results you can share without sensitive details.
  5. Your next stepThe support you need, the milestone you want to reach and a contact number or preferred time for a call.
Email your introduction

Please leave out proprietary drawings, formulas, source code and unpublished technical details. We will agree and sign an NDA before exchanging confidential technical details. Your initial email should remain non-confidential. Read our disclaimer.

A CLEAR BASIS FOR COLLABORATION

Disclaimer

Please read this information before sharing your concept with Jacana Global Machines Pvt. Ltd.

Project selection & support

This website describes our intended approach to collaboration. It is general information, not a binding offer of funding, investment or partnership. Project selection and support depend on technical and commercial review, available resources and a signed agreement. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a discussion, funding, patent grant, regulatory approval, commercial success or international expansion.

Keep your first introduction non-confidential

Do not send proprietary drawings, formulas, source code or unpublished technical details in your initial enquiry. Confidential information should be exchanged only after the relevant parties agree and sign an NDA. Sending an email does not itself create an NDA.

Intellectual property & your participation

Ownership, licensing, funding responsibilities and any royalties, revenue or profit share, or equity participation must be agreed in writing for each project. No fixed share or financial return is promised. Please ensure you have authority to share the information and involve any institution, employer or co-owner whose permission is required.

Images, experience & international reach

Our concept illustrations represent possibilities, not actual Jacana products, facilities or team members. References to leadership experience do not imply Jacana owns the underlying technology. Our 50+ country business network does not represent offices in those countries or guarantee partnerships, endorsements or market access.
